Shipping & Delivery Policy

This policy explains how orders placed through MediGrab (operated by Medigrab India Private Limited) are delivered, what it costs, and what happens when a delivery cannot be completed.
1. Who Dispenses and Who Delivers
MediGrab is a technology marketplace and order-routing platform. We do not own, stock, or dispense medicines. Every order is dispensed by an independent CDSCO-licensed partner pharmacy, which is the seller of record for the medicines. Delivery is performed by our third-party logistics partner.
2. Service Areas
We currently operate in Pune, Maharashtra. Orders are accepted where both a partner pharmacy and our logistics partner can service the delivery address, including:

Coverage changes as partners are added. If your address cannot be serviced, you are told before any payment is requested.
3. Delivery Timelines
- Standard orders: dispatched once the partner pharmacy has confirmed stock and packed the order. Delivery follows collection by our logistics partner.
- Prescription orders: dispatched only after the partner pharmacy's registered pharmacist has verified the prescription, which may add time.
- We do not guarantee a delivery time. Traffic, weather, stock availability, rider availability and prescription verification all affect how long an order takes.
- Deliveries are made during partner pharmacy operating hours. Orders placed outside those hours are serviced when a partner next opens.
4. Delivery Charges
- Medicine price is set by the partner pharmacy, at or below the printed MRP.
- Delivery fee: Charged by our logistics partner and calculated on the distance between the partner pharmacy and your delivery address. The exact amount is shown to you on the payment link before you pay.
- Handling fee: a flat ₹5 per order.
The complete amount — medicines, delivery fee and handling fee — is shown to you for approval before payment. We do not add charges after a payment link is issued.
5. Order Tracking
Order updates are sent on the same WhatsApp number used to place the order: confirmation, pharmacy acceptance, dispatch, and delivery. No app or account is required.
6. Failed or Delayed Deliveries
- If nobody is available at the address, the rider attempts contact on the order number before returning the package.
- Where a delivery cannot be completed for reasons on our side or the partner's, the order is cancelled and refunded in full under our Cancellation & Refunds Policy.
- Repeated failed attempts caused by an incorrect address or unavailability may be treated as a customer-side cancellation under that same policy.
7. Temperature-Sensitive Items
Cold-chain products (such as insulin) are packed by the partner pharmacy in appropriate insulated packaging. These items are dispatched only where the cold chain can be maintained through to delivery.
8. Prescription Medicines
Prescription-only medicines are dispensed strictly against a valid prescription verified by the partner pharmacy's registered pharmacist. If a prescription is missing, expired, or cannot be verified, the order is cancelled and refunded in full. MediGrab does not influence that decision.
